Anthony R. Carlisi, President, established Creative Manufacturing Solutions, Inc. (dba CMS Consulting Group) in 1988, following more than twenty years of industrial and consulting experience.  Tony built his career around a personal philosophy that “none of us is as smart as all of us.”  Over the last 25 years in consulting, Tony has worked with more than 250 companies ranging in size from a thirteen-person software firm to divisions of Fortune 100 companies in manufacturing, distribution, financial services and health care.

He began as a member of small, agile product development teams at Corning that developed and implemented manufacturing processes that enabled timely introduction of two major consumer products resulting in sales in the hundreds of millions of dollars.  His career at Xerox Corp. included management positions in many operation functions as well as product development responsibilities.

Tony’s experience with defining and utilizing team-based approaches, in addition to his extensive and unique consulting background, enable him to help companies understand the real issues, develop practical solutions and achieve optimum results.  His communication skills and accessibility make him a natural choice with clients.  He’s never too busy to answer questions and his down-to-earth attitude is an added benefit.

A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and a respected leader in the Rochester community, Tony donates his time and resources to a variety of local organizations – charity, business, and academic.
